Protocol Feature List
SnapperMail is an RFC compliant email client. This means it follows protocols that have evolved over the history of the internet and electronic mail and will work with similarly RFC compliant email servers. The following list specifies the supported features of the different protocols that SnapperMail uses.IMAP4
- Port: can be modified for both secured and unsecured connections

- SMTP authentication: POP-before-send
- ESMTP authentication PLAIN, LOGIN, and CRAM-MD5

- Ciphers: 3DES and RC4-128
